Above, the Black Locust image has been color inverted and toned in sepia which emphasizes design elements to me.

The structure of the Cow Parsnip flower array referred to as an umbel with its spreading spokes - the word umbel derives from umbra or shadow and relates as well to our umbrella which, in turn, suits our current wet Spring.
