Goodbye August - It's been a fine weather month - the late summer flowers are blooming and the grasshoppers, large. Sneezeweed, that unfortunately named beauty, is in full glory.

Much of this page is a result of my climbing down to the riverbank - the river has been low and I only plunged my shoed feet into the water on one occasion - so I could get the shot of 374.2.
